Effect of Spacing and Nitrogen Management on Yield and Economics of Summer Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.)

A field experiment was carried out in Zaid 2022 at the Department of Agronomy's Agricultural Research Farm Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh). There are three planting geometries used 30 cm x 10 cm, 40 and 50 cm. nitrogen management treatments 50% Recommended Dose Nitrogen (RDN) through inorganic fertilizer, RDN th rough fertilizer combination with provided yard manure Azotobacter seed inoculation, fertilizer. Ten were duplicated times randomized block design experiment. Findings showed that 30x10cm spacing ,50% + N biofertilizer (Azotobacter) highest grain yield (552.38 kg/ha), net return (30221.00 INR/ha), gross (71809.00 benefit: cost ratio (1.73).
